Brian's Mustang History:

For details on the Mustangs and Shelbys below, be sure to visit the Team Hoghead Garage!!

I have been a Mustang enthusiast  pretty much as long as I can remember.  We had a neighbor who worked for the local Ford dealer who had a Calypso Coral Boss 302 and a black Mach 1 that I used to watch go by our house when I was still riding a bicycle.

My brother-in-law has a beautiful 1968 Mustang GT Fastback that he used to drive daily and eventually did a "concours restoration" in the early 1980's.  I really enjoyed riding in his Mustang and wanted one too.

My first car still is my 1968 Mustang GT Fastback.

1968 Mustang GT Fastback purchased in 1978.

Sunlit Gold Metallic, black standard interior, J-Code 302-4V engine, C-4 automatic, air conditioning, power brakes, electric clock, fold down rear seat, exterior decor group.

My next Mustang... and my first project car was this 1967 Mustang Fastback that I built into a Shelby clone.

1967 Mustang Fastback purchased in 1980.

Originally Acapulco Blue, black standard interior, 289-2V engine, C-4 automatic.

Completed in Raven Black with Hurst Olds Gold Lemans stripes, black standard interior, Mexican block 302-4V with Cobra dress up kit, Toploader 4-speed.

Sold in 1981.

My next project Mustang was this 1970 Mustang Grande... it never made it to completion.  Purchased in 1982 and sold only a few months later.
Then in 1985 I bought this REAL 1968 Shelby GT350.

Candyapple Red with white Lemans stripes, black deluxe interior, Cobra 302-4V, Toploader 4-speed, Traction-loc rear axle, 16th Shelby assembled in 1968.

Sold in 1986.

My younger sister had a cute Wimbleton White, 1965 Mustang coupe, black standard interior, 289-4V, Toploader 4-speed for a while too.  I think I enjoyed driving it more than she did.

We had a stable full of ponies for about one year.

In 1987, I purchased this 1969 Mach 1... the SAME day I sold my 1975 455HO Trans Am, but didn't have opportunity to do anything with it... what a shame!!

Gulfstream Aqua, white deluxe interior, 351 Windsor 4V, FMX automatic.

1988 Mustang GT Hatchback purchased in 1988

Oxford White, red interior, 5.0L HO, 5-speed.

Sold in 1990.

I rescued this 1965 Mustang Fastback hull from a local junkyard in 1990 and sold it in 1991.
