1985 30th Anniversary Thunderbird:

In 1985 I helped my mom purchase this 1985 30th Anniversary Thunderbird to say a big "THANKS" for helping me complete my college education.  This is the very first Anniversary Edition Thunderbird offered by Ford.  A 35th Anniversary Edition and a 40th Anniversary Edition were later offered.  I later purchased this Thunderbird from my mom in 1996.

There were only 5000 of these limited edition Thunderbirds produced, all have the special Reatta Blue paint and tri-color stripe below the belt molding.  The grille and headlight bezels are body color.  The chrome trim is blacked out.  This limited edition 30th Anniversary Thunderbird came equipped with a throttle-body fuel injected 5.0L V-8, AOD automatic overdrive transmission, 10-hole aluminum wheels, quadra-shock rear suspension, electronic dash, premium sound, sunroof, and all the power accessories you'd expect (power windows, power seats, power antenna, cruise control, air conditioning with automatic climate control, power steering, power brakes, etc.).

Check out this jacket!!  Dyed to match the car and has a...	embroidered Thunderbird emblem on the pocket!!

We also have the ORIGINAL Goodyear Gatorbacks that came on this Thunderbird originally... yes, they've got some miles on them, but still in great shape.  We knew this Thunderbird would be a collector car and have tried to keep all of the items that make this car special.

Today, this Thunderbird has just over 100,000 miles on it.  It still has the original paint and interior in very good condition.
